i’m happy to have added this to my Blink system to keep an eye on the driveway. Mountain high enough on the garage that can’t be tampered with and has quite an advanced filter screen for blocking out areas that could cause it to easily be triggered like the nearby pavement (sidewalk) footpath, or traffic on the road. The only problem I have is that the batteries are going out quite quickly, lasting 2 months. The sensitivity and time settings are the same as my other blink, cameras, and those batteries are still the original, including my blink doorbell.
I called Customer Support, they logged into the camera and tell me that the Wi-Fi signal is only one bar. while the connection to the sink module is full bars (?). The sync module is in a drawer underneath the router. The blink doorbell is 4 m away and has a good signal. While the line of sight. This camera is even a little better. The customer service agent told me I need together Wi-Fi extender, or try moving the camera.. I’m gonna need to check this out a little more carefully because I don’t like replacing the batteries so often especially when I have to get on a ladder to do it! 🙄
