A great and diverse set from Joseph Joseph. Their products are definitely in the higher price range compared to many brands, but for that extra money, you get well thought out, quality products, and this is no exception.
With four utensils for £40, you're talking £10 per utensil - a little less if you include the minimalist stand, which allows you to display these utensils on your worktop in an upright position. I think this is a pretty reasonable price. Could you get similar for less, without the branding? Sure, but I do feel like if you're looking for quality, then JJ will offer that.
It's packaged nicely in a presentation box, and so would make an ideal Christmas or Birthday present for cooking fans.

The four utensils consist of a slotted spoon, regular serving/stirring spoon, a ladle and a slotted "turner" (a spatula to most of us!). The two slotted items are of the most use to me as I only have metal alternatives, which aren't suitable for any of my non-stick kitchenwear. I find that even if I'm careful using metal utensils I still seem to add scratches to my pans, so this set is great to resolve that.
The ladle is a good size - ideal for soups or stew serving, and the regular spoon is also great for serving pasta dishes, risottos etc.
All of these have the handle designed so that you can place them flat on the worktop, without the head touching. Meaning you don't have to deal with that mess that any cook will know about where their stirring spoon comes into contact with the surface leaving large tomato residue behind! This is a feature I'm familiar with from other brands, but stands to reason that it's adapted by various brands as it's a useful feature.

The coloured handles are pretty nice, not too bright/vivid so they won't look really garish in your kitchen. The stand also is good. A simple and compact disk shape, that enables you to store all four utensils upright in a surprisingly small amount of space. Well designed, as I'd expect.

Overall a really nice set that I'm happy to recommend. Heat resistant heads will cover you up to around 200°C, the handles slightly more as they're silicone. Given the price of everything nowadays, I don't think £40 for the set is unreasonable. I am confident these items will last a good amount of time for that money. Their sturdiness and quality is what I have come to expect from a good brand like Joseph Joseph. No faults to note.

These spoons are heat proof and sturdy and stay well on the surface and prevent mess while cooking because the spoon part isn't touching the surface which is why I got them. Nice colours and comes as 4 piece set, would have been nice if couple of more added to it to make it a set of 6 :) Maybe not for tasting as I attempted while using the spoon and was too big. The stand stays nice and flat and hold the utensils well.

For me the most important thing was that I think that the dimensions of the spoons & ladle are great for controlling portion sizes, thereby helping us maintain healthy weights AND reducing food waste when it comes to cooking/baking/serving. Also important for me to note; the utensil heads are suitable for non-stick cookware & are heat-resistant up to 200°C, while the silicone handles can withstand up to 270°C.

The 'Elevate technology' gimmick about how the utensils are "designed to improve hygiene and reduce mess" didn't really mean anything to me at the time of agreeing to test them out, but how the weighted handles & built-in tool rests prevent the tool heads from touching the work surface when placed down has indeed proven to be another great feature.

The product quality is great and the gimmicky bit is great, I just think that the price is a bit steep.

High-quality 4-piece multicolor utensil set. It's slim, so it doesn't take up much room on my kitchen counter. It includes a storage stand, a slotted spoon, a slotted turner, a solid spoon, and a ladle. I especially like that it has a raised tool head and an integrated tool rest, as opposed to my other set, which I have to rest on the worktop. This is far more hygienic. The handles are made of silicone, which is heat resistant and comfortable to hold. The utensils are premium quality. They also have a handing hook, which is convenient. Overall, it's pricey, but you get what you pay for. Excellent set, nice and strong. They're color-coded nicely, take up little space, and I'm confident they'll last.

Forty pounds for 64 utensils is expensive - there is no getting away from that. You are also paying for a brand here.

They are, however, versatile. You can use them on non-stick etc, they're heat resistant, and their weighted design and stand to stop the business end of the implement resting on your countertop is brilliant for those of us who may be somewhat bothered by this.

The stand is quite unique and makes keeping them in place more stylish than most solutions - including doing battle with your utensil draw!

So whilst they may be expensive, as most good cookware is, I hope they will last well - and if they do, then they're definitely worth it.

Everything is where needed on its very handy stand, very easy to clean and sturdy whilst cleaning, i love the fact that when not using the utensils they do not touch the surface as the back rest on them prevents this, i would highly recommend

These are really good quality and look fantastic too. I've bought cheaper untensils and they always end up being so flimsy and bending so these are well worth the extra money as they are nice and strong. I love the "elevate" technology as they don't touch the counter when placed down so it saves a lot of mess

I quite like this set of 4 kitchen utensils with stand holder base. Each product is a but heavy and has quite chunky handle with rest bar. Spoon or spatula can lay on the worktop without making it dirty. The quality is high, so do price. I used a spoon other day when cooking slim pasta and this spoon didn't get melted or get softer at all. It stays in its shape for the whole time. That's how high quality is all about. I could lay the spoon anywhere near cooker but this time I tried to rest it on pot's handle and it nicely stayed put there.
Utensils are nice balanced so handle is heavier than the top part. Like that used utensil will not mess up the surface.
I'm pleased with this set. All pieces are strong, durable, pretty and neatly stay in the holder. I left it on display and when needed I will use it. All my other utensils are hidden in drawers but these ones are to pretty to hide them ;) they are also quite big and take space in drawer so I prefer them out, near the cooker.
Price of £40 is high, though.. but we get 5 psc in total with stand included..

Joseph Joseph Elevate Slim 4-Piece Utensil Setis another excellent quality product from one of my favourite brands. I love the fact they design their products not only to be perfect for what they are designed to do but with the addition of colour and design they looks as good as the quality brand they are.
I love the fact that with these four utensils I use at least two of the utensils daily as they are great for aiding me when cooking the daily meals. Add the fact they take up truly little room on the worktop as their footprint is small and discreet yet still provide four high-quality kitchen utensils which are also amazingly comfortable to hold when cooking etc.
Perfect for dishwashers etc, this is the perfect holder for small galley kitchens or for someone who likes their utensils nearby while not taking up a lot of room.
Excellent quality and a pleasure to hold, happy to recommend it as a good purchase.
