This device doesn't charge batteries to 100%, I've left batteries charging overnight and although the lights indicate its fully charged the batteries are only at 90% when put straight into the Ring devices. Also, only one of the sets of lights that indicate its fully charged works ie only 3 out of 4 lights are lit.

Don’t even bother. It either doesn’t charge the quick release batteries at all or it does, tells you they’re fully charged yet they’re nowhere near fully charged and you still have to charge them using the orange cable the batteries come with in a plug socket

In the past the Ring products we have owned have been amazing. This charging station was returned due to the fact it didn’t work correctly. The batteries fit in the slot and you have to jiggle them to get the lights to flash to start charging which some days that could take a few minutes. Then the lights would stop flashing before fully charged so again you jiggle. When the charger has worked and the batteries are fully charged when replaced and checked on the ring app batteries only showing 86% charged. Other reviews did say the same but I thought I will try it but had the same problems ring needs to look at the design.

I received this Charging Station with the Ring Intercom promotion.

The Charging Station (which appears to have a code of 22040001 on the base - maybe a date code 22/04?) turned out to be faulty - it would lock up, showing a pair of static LEDs and needed to be power cycled before it can charge a battery.

I contacted Ring UK Customer Support and they agreed to send me a new one, no hassle. The replacement Charging Station (code 220600001, possible date code 22/06?) has arrived, and now appears to be working perfectly.

Because of this, only 3 stars for "Longevity".

As others have noted, it doesn't seem to charge to 100%, but somewhere between 90% and 95%. Hence, only 4 stars for battery life.

UPDATE: A week later, and one side has locked up, and stopped charging. This is a simple device with a single function, that it is incapable of performing reliably. Don't waste your money.

Put the battery in to charge, light comes on flashes a couple of times and then nothing. Doesn’t charge the batteries whether you have one or two batteries in it. As a ring battery charger it’s useless.

Had real trouble charging my cam batteries as the flashing display isn’t consistent. I’ve tried using different cables etc in case it was the cable, but it often displays nothing and I’ve had to jiggle batteries around to get any of the lights to show up, even when there is charge left in the batteries. Very disappointing

Bought 1 and after a few days, it broke. As you can see on the picture, the left slot suddenly had 1 LED ON all the time although no battery is in that slot. And when I put a battery in it, it doesn't charge it.

Had it replaced, received the new item and exact same issue! Exact same LED is now ON all the time and when I insert a battery, it doesn't charge it!

What's going on????

This worked fine first couple of times whent to use it this week and it won't charge, I cant even return it as it's outside the window, if I had splashed out on 4 Stick up cams I would bin the lot. Don't buy the charger just use a USB-C cable and they charge.
