Lovely addition for the chef in the house

The home chef was not using the best tools, they were blunt, hard to cut and it just made the job harder. Gifting these gifts made the chef enjoy the job so much more and even praising it's ease of use. The blades are sharp and easy to clean.

Good but not dishwasher safe

Just bought a fresh set. Others lasted 4 years before handles starting to fall apart. We have the carousel already. These are very good knives. Very sharp and stay sharp for a while. But not being dishwasher safe is just stupid. Same with Joseph Joseph utensils that aren’t heat resistant. This company seems to be too focussed on aesthetics and not the actual purpose of their products.

These knives are fantastic. I used them while staying with a friend and I liked them so much I decided to buy myself a set.

They are very comfortable to use and very sharp (when doing the dishes I used to put my knives into the bowl of soapy water, these knives are so sharp I've accidentally sliced my fingers open more than once....a habit I no longer have!)

The rest to prevent a dirty knife touching the surface is a nice idea however only if you're right handed. To use it left handed, like I am, you have to twist your wrist and put the knife down with the blade facing you, an unnatural action and not a habit I'd be comfortable with so it's a redundant feature for me.

Like I said these are the best knives I have ever owned. I had read some previous reviews saying they weren’t that great but thought I would just give them a go anyway.
I’m disabled so cutting things can be difficult at times. These make what can be a difficult job very easy. The only thing I have to worry about is cutting myself.
They all come with their own plastic sheath to protect them. I always wash them by hand instead of the dishwasher to hopefully protect them that bit longer.
In some previous reviews it was mentioned that the coating had been coming off the knives, I haven’t had that problem at all.
I wouldn’t think twice about buying these again. They are a great price for such a high quality set of knives.
