One of the best Yankee Candle scents out there.

I was introduced to this particular Yankee scent quite a few years ago by my older brother. He loves it - I think it's his all time favourite! Needless to say, when it comes to Christmas time, I always try to get him something I know will be of use to him and that he'll like without a doubt, so this is the perfect gift. He hasn't been purchasing Yankees for a while now (and neither have I) due to the price increases that make a lot of the more popular scents totally overpriced, so when I saw this one on offer, I snapped it up right away for him. Now all it needs is some wrapping paper and it's ready for Christmas!

I wanted to see what the hype was about. Its nice yes, is it worth the rrp,no. The wax gathers around the side or the wick disappears. They are definitely overpriced. I've found similar candles that are so alike but a lot less and stick with them now.

These candles have a long burn time, and a strong scent. Only gave 4 stars however because I question whether they are good value for money. Bought as a gift and the recipient likes it so that's what's important in the end

Yankee Candles provide good value in their mid market position, with attractive lidded jars and pleasant fragrances, although I would urge doing some in-store sniffing before purchase where possible to check the smell is to your taste.

For best burning experience, keep the wick trimmed to no more than 3mm and use a candle snuffer to extinguish as that helps prevent the wax going everywhere.

This is an attractively scented candle, perfect for dinner table, lounge, bedroom and as a secret Santa/stocking. The lid helps keep the dust off between burnings although this one smells so nice it is unlikely to get a chance to accumulate dust in this house.

Smells great but needs two wicks

This is one of those smells that has you wishing you could scoop out the contents of the jar with your hands and eat it: very sweet and fruity but not sickly or overpowering. They could even safely make the smell even stronger.
My only gripe is that it suffered from tunneling, and by the time the wick burned out I still had about 2/3 of the candle left around the sides of the jar. I left it burning for a good few hours when it was first lit, but it didn't make any difference. Also it's not always practical to leave it burning for hours every time you light it, so two wicks (as can be seen in similar candles from places like Village Candle) would be a better solution.
It did at least burn very cleanly without producing soot, so no complaints there.

My all time favourite fragrance of Yankee candles! Sweet and lingering fragrance that spreads across a number of rooms. It’s a shame you can’t use all the max when it comes towards the bottom of the jar, too much wax left on the side of the jar that gets unused. If you have time, you can remove the wax and use it as wax melt with a tea light!
