One of the best Yankee Candle scents out there.

I was introduced to this particular Yankee scent quite a few years ago by my older brother. He loves it - I think it's his all time favourite! Needless to say, when it comes to Christmas time, I always try to get him something I know will be of use to him and that he'll like without a doubt, so this is the perfect gift. He hasn't been purchasing Yankees for a while now (and neither have I) due to the price increases that make a lot of the more popular scents totally overpriced, so when I saw this one on offer, I snapped it up right away for him. Now all it needs is some wrapping paper and it's ready for Christmas!

I wanted to see what the hype was about. Its nice yes, is it worth the rrp,no. The wax gathers around the side or the wick disappears. They are definitely overpriced. I've found similar candles that are so alike but a lot less and stick with them now.

Not sure this is an original Yankee Candle: the scent is ok, but it’s burning down the centre leaving so much unburnt wax around the sides from top down. Usually a large candle will give approx 2 weeks of burn time, burning everyday/all day, without any residue wax left in jar. This candle is burning a narrow funnel down & its left a thick residue of wax around the sides, & only been burning for 3 days. Never know a YC to do that before…. Usually worth the money but I feel robbed of the £16 (sale) cost of this

I am very disappointed. These candles smell great and use to have two wicks. Now with the single wick and the height of the holder/design of the jar, it means the wax does not burn evenly and leaves significant residue on the sides and at the base. I broke up all the leftover wax to give you an idea of the level of waste.
This is with the knowledges I leave the candle burning for hours usually, as per instructions. The smell is lovely but it does tend to create very dark smoke which leaves a residue on the wall (if you keep it near a white wall).
In these environmentally conscious times, it is not acceptable to me that so much of the candle needs to be binned.

I’ve long bought Black Cherry so snapped to is one up on a deal. The smell is different to previous Black Cherry candles (I’ve got enough to compare). It’s sweeter and less heady. Also tunnels very badly: had this burning all day before and it’s only burning half the diameter of the candle. Very wasteful. (I end up chipping off the wax to use in a wax melter.)

Product arrived on time however i had not long started burning it and the candle itself made a hole in the wax. I wondered if it would correct itself but it did not. I Considered contacting the seller but left it to see how it would burn. It burned ok for weeks the smell was strong like it should be and i manged to use all the candle but the wick did not burn very well for most of the time and on some occations even went out meaning i had to relight it

Smells great but it was clearly a reject from the proper yankee store as it burned horribly. Always tunneling, even if you burn it for the right amount of time. The flame was always very weak, probably because of the wick. Not ordering Yankee Candles from Amazon ever again, spend the money and get it from a store

I have lit this candle 3 times now and despite leaving it to burn for four hours each time it refuses to melt the wax completely across the top. But instead persists to tunnel its way down the Center of the candle. I have used many Yankee candles without problem but this one (Black cherry) is not going to last long at this rate. And will prove to be a massive waste of money.
