One of the best Yankee Candle scents out there.

I was introduced to this particular Yankee scent quite a few years ago by my older brother. He loves it - I think it's his all time favourite! Needless to say, when it comes to Christmas time, I always try to get him something I know will be of use to him and that he'll like without a doubt, so this is the perfect gift. He hasn't been purchasing Yankees for a while now (and neither have I) due to the price increases that make a lot of the more popular scents totally overpriced, so when I saw this one on offer, I snapped it up right away for him. Now all it needs is some wrapping paper and it's ready for Christmas!

I wanted to see what the hype was about. Its nice yes, is it worth the rrp,no. The wax gathers around the side or the wick disappears. They are definitely overpriced. I've found similar candles that are so alike but a lot less and stick with them now.

candle burns in the middle downwards

One time when you lit a Yankee candle and let it burn, it burnt to the edge of the glass and then melted all the way down so nothing was left at the end bar the bottom of the wick. Now, however, after buying quite a lot of Yankee candles over the last 10 years, they tend to burn outwards for a while then burn downwards very centrally, resulting in an awful lot of wax still attached to all of the sides of the glass when it reaches the bottom. Considering how expensive they are I am not really going to be buying them anymore.
Only plus side to it is that it the smell is lovely !

Always delivered very destroyed at the top of the wax not as strong a scent as they used to be something must of changed when burning on window ledge they let of a lot of black soot on the glass and sometimes on many ordered the wicks don’t light

I am a long time fan of Yankee candles but I think this one must be dud. It started off promising and I loved the smell but when I had used about 20% the candle, it only melted the area around the wick and did not touch the sides. I have spent a long time trying to prise the wax from the side to move to the middle but it keeps going out so pretty much useless. This has not happened before and perhaps would not if two wicks. I will still buy from Yankee unless this happens again and I am sure nothing to do with the scent.

Smells really bad, like something is wrong with the wax, doesn’t smell anything like the other black cherry candle I already had from a Yankee shop.

Does not burn properly, even after a whole day of being lite. Also the wick doesn’t get the mushroom type splitting at the top like every Yankee Candle I have ever had before has done.

I’m 99% sure it’s a fake which is disappointing considering the seller was Amazon and not one of there partners.
