I love Yankee candles. I was nervous of ordering in case would arrive broken and unfortunately it did. Returned easily. Hit or miss if will arrive intact. Hopefully they improve packaging so less likely to break

The "Small" is not very suitable for a gift, I felt embarrassed giving this to the lovely couple. I couldn't afford the reasonable size one but if you can I would recommend buying that!

Ok so these look very pretty and elegant on your night stand, but be very wary when purchasing "Wedding Day". If you look online at the newer range of Yankee Candles, the font of the logo is different and its been rebranded a bit edgier. My candle came in the older style and I've noticed that the smell is very very faint, and not what it used to be at all. I feel like it's quite possible they aren't manufacturing new versions of Wedding Day and are selling outdated old versions where the scent just isn't as potent. I feel a bit cheated out of 20 quid.

It looks lovely and comes in a really giftable box, so I'd give it points for that and that only but really you can get candles that look nice and don't smell strong for less than a fiver. Save your money.

I get these occasionally as a gift for my wife. They do have a good burn time and a pleasent scent, and will burn to the very last drop of wax...
But they are painfully expensive at full price. I only ever buy when they are in an "Offer".

I am a Maid of Honour this weekend, so thought this candle 'wedding day' would be PERFECT for the bride - a yankee candle obsessive! (You should see her house!)

I've always found yankee candles to be a bit overpriced, but to give them their credit, they usually smell wonderful.

I bought the small sized candle - and that isn't a joke... it's TINY! I can't believe it was nearly £9.00 for a candle as big as my palm! I am convinced the 'small' sized ones in the shops are bigger!

As for the smell - I have to admit I was very disappointed! Usually yankee candles smell incredible, this one smells like a really cheap washing powder mixed with two week old flowers! It has not got a nice smell at all and i'm not even sure that the bride will like it!

However, i'll be keeping it so that she has a cute momento of the day!

Such a shame!

On a separate note - the seller was very prompt and the package arrived well boxed & packaged so that there was no damage!

Its a large candle. Looks great and expensive. Can be a nice gift. I can't really smell anything though. I just use it for a bit of light when watching a movie in the dark.
One thing I dislike is that when you blow it out there is a LOT of smoke. I have to move the candle to the bathroom to blow kt out so the bedroom air doesnt get polluted.

Arrived promptly and packaged well. Was looking forward to using this candle as I had read good reviews about the scent Wedding Day. Unfortunately upon burning it wasn't a scent I liked at all so I won't use it and I have wasted my money. However this wont put me off trying out other Yankee candle scents, I'm looking forward to trying Fresh Cut Roses scent. Also I must say this jar looks beautiful as a wedding gift hence giving 3 stars.
