My favourite smell ever from a candle. I normally buy cheaper scented candles to get rid of kitchen smells and feel Yankee is a bit overpriced. But this smells fabulous and burns well. It disguises kitchen cooking smells well and the scent carries through the house quite impressively. Don’t think it’s quite attractive enough that I’d gift it though.

Ok so I'm a big fan of Yankee candles, I always have one lit because they last a long time and the scents are nice and strong and this one is no exception, it smells amazing, less like cinnamon and more like anise in my opinion, but both are lovely scents.

The only issue I've noticed with this candle is that it tunnels, no matter what I do.
I use a Yankee Candle Illuma-Lid to not only help prevent drafts but also to help the wax pool evenly across the surface...but this candle just won't...maybe it's just this batch? I don't know but that's how my experience with this specific candle has been.

I do recommend this candle because although it tunnels it's a large tunnel so there isn't a huge amount of wax left on the sides...but I'd prefer if there was none so I get my moneys worth. Maybe you'll have better luck if/when you try this candle!

I bought this as part of a christmas present, I knew it would be small but I wasn't quite prepared for how small it was... in the end as part of a larger gift it didn't really matter but we did have a giggle when I opened the box. Scent is lovely and long lasting as always with geniune Yankee Candle products. I have included a photo of my hand holding the candle so you can have an idea of size.. my hand is an average sized 35 year old woman's hand, if it helps.

As the title says, I really like the smell of this candle. The description does it justice, and it's really pleasant to just take off the lid and inhale, before you even light it.

Burning it has been more problematic. It was fine on the first burn, as the wax was still up to the neck, but subsequent burns into the full width of the jar have suffered badly from tunnelling. A quick Google suggests that you need to burn these for a minimum of 4 hours to prevent this, but I had this one lit, with a good flame, for 9 hours a couple of days ago, and it still hadn't melted to the edge, all of the way around.

So your options are to either let it tunnel, and waste a load of wax (you could buy wicks and moulds and make new candles from it, I suppose) to try to fold the outer wax into the middle once it softens (doesn't look pretty) or to burn it for considerably longer than you really want or need to, again, wasting wax.

I've bought two large candles already, but if the other one behaves the same, I'll only buy the smaller ones in future.

Absolutely love this scent from Yankee. Just recently however I've noticed the Yankee Candles tunnelling a LOT more than they ever used to, even with trimming the wick, burning for many hours etc. Also, that there is a great deal of wax that remains at the end, when the wick is spent. Only noticed this this last year or so... Still a lovely candle.
