Having installed a Ring alarm for a property where it was easiest to integrate into the existing Ring doorbell/camera system, I don't really rate this sensor.
It is absolutely huge - with 2x AA batteries (why not use AAA?) - and thus very heavy. Design looks years old.
Compare them to the Xiaomi/Aqara I use at home, a fraction of the size, that also have a positional mount (like a mini camera), include a light level sensor and (unofficially) temperature!
Pity you cannot use compatibles, a really poor, poor sensor from Ring.
