Bought two 'panic' buttons direct from RING. One for the front door and the other for our main bedroom.
Our bedroom is on the third floor through solid floors yet a range extender wasn't required.
Easy to link to base station and quite discrete. The button has a hinged cover to reduce the chances of it being set off by mistake.
For some reason the front door button did not adhere very well to the wall and I used a 3m sticky pad.
Hopefully, we will never have to use it in anger.
