If you live in the uk it’s basically just going to be a dull lightbulb lol. Yeah they won’t connect at all tried everything even watching badly made YouTube vids that’s like pulling teeth out waiting for them to actually get to the point anyway the issue is with routers and what setting they use, look I still don’t know but what I do know is when I’ve been took for walk down the garden path. It’s up to you this one but don’t say I didn’t warn you. I even read comments telling me they wouldn’t work in the UK but I also seen them saying they did so who really know eh? Goodluck!

I bought these bulbs to pair with Alexa - it's worth noting that OHMAXX are NOT on the list of brands within the Alexa app, nor have I been able to find the app mentioned bespoke to the product. I have been able to connect them to the Alex during pair mode once I had turned my DECO to 2.4G.

In less than a month the bulb in my son's room, used frequently, has started to disconnect from the Alexa App and turn itself on and off randomly. Removing it and repairing it does not seem to have resolved the issue, and so far, I have not been able to find a solution. The one in the main bedroom, used rarely, seems to be ok but again, has not been tested fully.

I will be contacting the seller to see if they can offer a solution but I now wish I'd gone for HIVE bulbs which seem to be far more reliable.

Getting the bulbs connected can be a bit long-winded, you need to switch your router to 2.4ghz, connect them, then turn the 5ghz back on. If you do that, it's relatively simple setting them up.

The first bulb out of the pack, has worked flawlessly for over 6 months now, no issues whatsoever. The second however, ended up in the bin. From the moment it powered on, it ticked/crackled. I'm not sure if it was an electrical fault, but I wasn't willing to risk using it in case it caused a fire.
