As another reviewer said, these LED's are not the brightest. Setup and integration with Google home is easy, and the Govee home app has some cool features and is fairly intuitive to use. However depending where they are placed, the lighting itself is hit or miss.As you can see I installed these around my desk at home. I ran the strip twice around the back edge, with the first run facing upwards, and the second facing down. The side facing the floor lights up the space reasonably well, due to it being a much smaller area and reflecting on my laminate floor. The side facing upwards however barely shows more than a glow. In daylight hours I couldn't even tell it was on. Disappointing as I wanted these to replace my lamp as a secondary light in the evening rather than using the main ceiling light, however they are much too dim.If you are planning to use these for something like lighting up the inside of an open cabinet, or as under cabinet/ skirting lights in your kitchen or perhaps accent lighting, these will work well. However if you are planning to use them for lighting larger areas of a room, I would look elsewhere, or at least plan very carefully where to position them in order to maximise light output.
