It will likely depend on a number of factors - how reliable and compliant your WiFi router/access point is with WiFi standards (ie. good signal quality, support for power saving etc.), how often your Ring Intercom/apartment is "called", and how often your Ring Intercom is used to unlock your door.

My intercom has very light usage, called maybe 2-3 times a week, and is connected to a Ubiquiti U6-LR access point for WiFi that is just a few feet away from the Intercom.

The Ring Intercom battery started out at 92% on 28 Oct 2022, and as of today 2 Feb 2023 (more or less 100 days) it is down to 70%.

I would expect to get about 1 year of use from a single charge based on my battery usage. see less

Answer:
At the very top of the item page on Amazon, the box that tells you to check compatibility has a link at the end. It's not very clear as it's a light blue and not underlined, but you can click that and filter down by manufacturer and model number.

However, whether this could do both of yours would depend on your current wiring setup. If your current system has only 1 lock release button/wire for both of your gates this would unlock both at the same time. The same would be true if your current system only has one phone handset to control both gates. The mic/speakers for both intercoms would be audible through the app. The Ring app would show one device but would control both at the same time. If you have 2 separate handsets and/or release buttons, you could also bodge it and combine the unlocking wires and mic & speaker wires from both of your current intercoms into this device and get the same effect, the Ring device seeing 1 intercom but controlling both.....if you wire it correctly.

P.s. I know it's obvious, because I used the word "bodge" in my answer, but here goes anyway.....I don't work for Ring/Amazon or any other seller.....and just because I've done something (combine my intercoms) doesn't mean it's the best advice for everyone, or perhaps anyone, else, or that it even rises to the standard necessary to be qualified as "advice" 😂🤣😂 see less

Answer:
They should be both working - so you could answer the door either through the handset or the app.
