On the underground there can be a low background noise, but it’s more a very low and subtle rumble than a hiss. For buds this size and price it’s one of the better anc’s I’ve experienced, but won’t be as good as something more dedicated to anc like the Bose quiet comforts, or like full over the ear headphones

Some misleading answers here, new or refurbished you can still return them for a full refund in a reasonable amount of time under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which also covers the product for 6 years.
With noise in the background these headphones are actually quite good for voice commands, so no issues there. I would state that using them for calls with background noise is a non-starter. Your recipient will get very cheesed off as they won't be able to hear you properly, but then I'm not sure if many people make cal…

I would stipulate that they're only water resistant though, and even with extended moisture from the hot tub, I wouldn't bet on them resisting that level of humidity extensively.
