you can try and disable the IR and then use a motion detecting spotlight on the outside to overcome the reflection problem.

Yes you need to sign up for a free Ring account and log in to access your recordings. You get free access to recordings for a month then pay £2.50 a month for cloud storage.

The plug is the cheapest I have ever seen sold with anything priced at more than £4. Poundland would be embarrassed to sell it. Danger? Probably not. But I'd replace it with any other micro USB plug.

Assuming it's changed now? As it now uses a standard micro USB connector.
I say standard... It has a moulded cap that doesn't *quite* fit, so I've moved to an old Kindle plug. with a micro USB lead.

hi have a ring doorbell and account. Also have the Alexa echo show. My elderly dad lives next door - if i bought the camera and set it up in his house (on his wifi) would it show on my Alexa or ring app? (Does it need to be on the same wifi?)
