‘Surprise Snowfall’ large Christmas 2020 candle

I haven’t bought a large hat Yankee Candle for some time, mainly because I felt I was being ripped off by paying over £20 for some coloured scent-less wax. The company had seemed to change their scented candle ‘business model’ by removing the scent from thier products and hoping no one would notice. Well they did, you can read on here and all across the Internet how bad Yankee’s candles actually got. ‘Where is the scent?’ came the universal cry.

Anyhoo, I had a ‘moment of madness’ and thought I’d try one of their brand new ones from 2020’s Christmas Range, ‘Surprise Snowfall’ and, well, surprise (!) it actually has a decent scent and throw which you can actually smell without having to be 2 inches from the flame.

I chose this candle as (A) I like pine scents and (B) it’s a white candle and was told years ago (although I’m not sure if it’s true) that white candle have a better throw as they don’t contain lots of dyes. Although a couple of years back a couple of previously good Midnight Jasmine candles proved me wrong on that front.

So, yes, the smell is good and I can even smell it outside of the living room. It’s not a toilet cleaner pine scent it’s a light fresh out-doors pine. It’s reminds me of ‘Sparkling Snow’ from another 5 years ago. The scent has grown in strength once I had burnt through about three quarters of an inch for some reason.

I’m giving it 4 out of 5 as I’d like to see if the smell matains all the way to bottom, in which case I will give it a five.

This is more like it Yankee. Keep it up!

The scent is really not what I've expected. The fruity sweetness in it is just too overwhelming and too sharp to me. I can't stand to smell it for 3 hours and had to keep the window open to let the scent out because it needs to burn for like 3 hours for the wax to melt evenly.
For Christmas i would really prefer the cinnamon type of warm smell than this.
A bit disappointed with the scent but it's huge I have to keep burning it.

Super price for my biannual purchase of a Christmas Yankee candle. I can no longer get the sparkling snow one but this one is similar so I'm delighted. The scent is light and fresh which suits everyone in the house. It is safely tucked away for Christmas now. Delivery was safe and quick.

I purchased the Yankee Candle - Surprise Snowfall Large Jar Candle and it smells amazing! It reminds me of being in the woods, on a crisp winter day, just as it is starting to snow. It has such a clean and refreshing smell. Would highly recommend.
It came packaged in an "cardboard egg crate" then in 2 boxes (smaller box appeared to be a gift box).

Am Anfang dachte ich sie riecht etwas zu stark, künstlich. Meinem Freund hat sie jedoch so gut gefallen, dass wir sie behalten haben. Ich habe meine Meinung geändert!
