I'm somone who's always buying yankee candles and I must say this is the first yankee that has disappointed me, usually yankee's will fill my whole living room but for something that was meant to have such a strong smell I can barley smell it at all which is quite shocking for my usual experience with the brand, I was really looking forward to making the place smell all Christmasy and that wish has been left unfulfilled. So personally I would avoid buying this smell if I were you.

I use candles to help with getting rid of cooking smells in particular. Used another brand in the past which was excellent at doing this but it did not last very long. Saw this on offer so decided to take a punt. The candle is massive and the jar is lovely, ive used it many times now and it looks like it will last for some time.

Now the bad, the scent is just not powerfull enough to mask food smells like the previous brand. Also, when you extinguish the candle the burning smell from this is way more powerful than the little scent leaving the house smelling like its on fire briefly.

Second one I've bought as the deal was so good, this one is more like a bunsen burner and less like a candle? Trimmed the wick and only angered it further - like any candle keep away from furnishings etc but seriously incase take extra care with this one! Blew it out and my living room was like a rave party with all the smoke!

I’m really not happy with this product. The candle was lit in my room for about 20-25 mins and all of a sudden my house fire alarm is going off. The stalk in the candle does not burn good, the fire rages and blows out lot of smoke. Would like a refund as I payed a decent bit of money for a supposedly great candle. Never has this happened to any candle I have bought from other companies so why this time do I have an issue. I’d like my money back and I will purchase from else where. Extremely gutted as this was a gift. Maybe this was just a one off issue, if you’d like to send out another candle so we can clarify it was just a mistake this one time or a full refund.

It's been a few years since I bought a Yankee candle and I remember the scent throw was always excellent, particularly this cinnamon one. Unless I've received a defective one, it's nowhere near as strong now.

The other issue is the single wick. It's recommended to keep it short (6mm) and allow enough time for the wax to melt so as to avoid tunnelling. That can be avoided however the wick still ends up chucking out smoke after being lit for a while.

I wish Yankee would copy the Village Candle approach and use two wicks that are much more efficient and produce far less smoke.

This is probably the worst purchase I did in amazon, having made hundreds of purchases.

The candle has absolutely no smell at all, Cheap Tesco and Aldi candles smell better than this. And when lit, it gives out a horrible sooty flame, so horrible that I didn't dare to keep it alight after trying for nearly an hour if that till abate.

If this is not a fake candle, this company should be ashamed to ship them as it's hard to believe that this is a one off case. Please read the other one star reviews - if I read them first I would have saved some money.

I bought this as Yankee Candle, while expensive, always delivers on smell. This cinnamon one, however, doesn't seem to emit any smell whatsoever! I can leave it on for hours and not smell anything! Maybe I got a dudd one, but I regret forking out for it now!
