I'd previously been buying these in the boxes of ten 100g packets in the original packaging for around £5-£6 a box, but then the price suddenly doubled and kept rising, to the point where I stopped buying them!
Then came new packaging; smaller quantities and higher prices - but during a cost of living crisis, something had to give!
I looked at the price of this jar and it might be a bigger initial outlay but it is worth it WHEN the price is right!
I ordered this 2.75kg jar for £19.99 and received it the next day, but last week this same jar was listed as £31.99 - I couldn't justify spending that much so I was so relieved when the price went down!
***** I recommend keeping an eye on the price because it goes up and down more often than an elevator!!!
So to recap, as of 22nd-23rd of April 2023, this 2.75kg jar cost me £19.99. It contained approximately 418 lozenges, so that definitely works out as much better value than the smaller newly packaged bags.
These really help soothe my throat and help get rid of annoying tickly coughs, without aggravating my asthma - so I'm hoping they'll be the same good value when I buy another jar in the future!
