The final novel in The Seven Sisters series is here.
Spanning a lifetime of love and loss, crossing borders and oceans, Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt, co-authored by her son Harry Whittaker, draws Lucinda Riley's saga to its stunning, unforgettable conclusion.
1928, Paris. A boy is found, moments from death, and taken in by a kindly family. Gentle, precocious, talented, he flourishes in his new home, and the family show him a life he hadn’t dreamed possible. But he refuses to speak a word about who he really is.
As he grows into a young man, falling in love and taking classes at the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris, he can almost forget the terrors of his past, or the promise he has vowed to keep. But across Europe an evil is rising, and no-one’s safety is certain. In his heart, he knows the time will come when he must flee once more.
2008, the Aegean. The seven sisters are gathered together for the first time, on board the Titan, to say a final goodbye to the enigmatic father they loved so dearly.
To the surprise of everyone, it is the missing sister who Pa Salt has chosen to entrust with the clue to their pasts. But for every truth revealed, another question emerges. The sisters must confront the idea that their adored father was someone they barely knew. And even more shockingly: that these long-buried secrets may still have consequences for them today.
In this epic conclusion to the Seven Sisters series, everything will be revealed.

Delicious reading -- Daily Mail on The Pearl Sister
Another epic tale of love, loss and discovery -- My Weekly on The Pearl Sister
Heart-wrenching, uplifting and utterly enthralling. The Seven Sisters series is Lucinda Riley at the top of her game: a magical storyteller who creates characters we fall in love with and who stay with us long after we finish reading. Heart-wrenching, uplifting and utterly enthralling. Dazzlingly good. -- Lucy Foley, bestselling author of The Hunting Party, on The Sun Sister
About the Author
Her books have been nominated for numerous awards, including the Italian Bancarella Prize, the Lovely Books Award in Germany, and the Romantic Novel of the Year Award. In 2020 she received the Dutch Platinum Award for sales over 300,000 copies for a single novel in one year – a prize last won by J. K. Rowling for Harry Potter.
In collaboration with her son Harry Whittaker, she also devised and wrote a series of books for children called The Guardian Angels.
Though she brought up her four children mostly in Norfolk in England, in 2015 she fulfilled her dream of buying a remote farmhouse in West Cork, Ireland, which she always felt was her spiritual home, and indeed this was where her last five books were written.
Lucinda was diagnosed with cancer in 2017 and died on 11 June 2021, surrounded by her family.

About the authors
Harry Whittaker grew up in the 1990s and spent the first few years of his life on the rural west coast of Ireland. The son of the author Lucinda Riley, Harry became a storyteller himself, as an award-winning radio presenter for the BBC and a member of one of the UK’s most renowned improv troupes. In 2019, Harry and Lucinda co-authored the Guardian Angels series for children – four reassuring, timeless stories addressing worries that a small child may have.
After Lucinda’s death in 2021, it was announced that Harry would complete the Seven Sisters series on behalf of his late mother. Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt publishes globally in May 2023.
Harry lives in Yorkshire, England.
Lucinda Riley was born in 1965 in Ireland, and after an early career as an actress in film, theatre and television, wrote her first book aged twenty-four. Her books have been translated into thirty-seven languages and continue to strike an emotional chord with all cultures around the world. The Seven Sisters series specifically has become a global phenomenon, creating its own genre, and there are plans to create a seven-season TV series.
Her books have been nominated for numerous awards, including the Italian Bancarella prize, The Lovely Books award in Germany, and the Romantic Novel of the Year award. In 2020 she received the Dutch Platinum award for sales over 300,000 copies for a single novel in one year – an award last won by J K Rowling for Harry Potter.

There’s a lot of reviews that suggest which bits Harry wrote, but you know what? I really don’t care! The writing is flawless, the surprises that are revealed are stunning, and the writing is seamless. It’s not often a book reduces me to tears, but I found Atlas such an emotive read, that I admit I shed a tear or two. Throughout the series each sister has had a distinctive voice, their individual stories are so rich in detail that I have come to love and respect each one of the Sisters. Pa Salt's story is wonderfully told, and as the layers of his tragic life are slowly peeled away the readers comes to realise what motivated him to adopt his seven daughters.
Each book in the series has added to the mystery of who is Pa Salt? For every truth revealed in Atlas, another question emerges. But now that I know pa’s incredible story I feel Lucinda Riley and Harry Whittaker have tied up all the loose ends perfectly. As I reached the end of this book I was so emotionally invested I felt bereft as I prepared myself to say ‘goodbye’ to the D'Aplièse sisters and Pa Salt. This book has been such a heart-wrenching, uplifting and utterly enthralling read I absolutely adored it. Atlas has to be one of my most memorable reads of 2023. Highly recommended.

To make the book last longer I tried hard to limit how much I read at a time, but in the end the pull to find out more was greater than my willpower. I became completely involved with the narrative, shedding tears along the way.
I know that this is a series of books I will come back to once the memory of Bo, Elle and the whole Atlantas family fade, but at the moment these characters are still alive and fresh in my mind.
A wonderful read.
I have just finished the book very satisfied recommend.
